Organizational and ADHD Coaching: Students with ADHD often struggle with organization in school. Their binders, calendars, lockers and work spaces are often disorganized in ways that lead to frustration, anxiety and low performance in school. I will work with your student to create changes in their daily habits and organizational techniques that will lead to greater functioning and success in their school life. I require a free initial consultation with students and parents prior to our work together to ensure that the child is truly ready to make changes and develop healthier habits.
Packages are available in increments of 8 or 12 sessions.
*Customized "tune up" packages are available to students who have completed at least 1 program.
Reading Difficulties: As an Orton-Gillingham trained tutor with over 700 hrs. of training/experience and a Reading Specialist for the public school system, I understand fully the impact that reading difficulties have in the day to day life of a student. Reading is the MOST vital skill for student success and many children need one-on-one support to be successful. To foster this success for your child, I will create a customized program that targets your child's specific weaknesses and develop multi-sensory lessons (visual/auditory/kinesthetic) that create true long term learning for your child. All lessons will include instruction in spelling, grammar, writing, reading, visual and auditory skills that lead to deep understanding of the English language.
​I require a free initial consultation with students and parents, an initial assessment to determine your child's specific gaps and a copy of any testing that has been completed privately or within the school system.

Rates:
Initial Assessment: $150
Hourly Rate: $75/hour - lessons are conducted 2x's/week for a minimum of 6 months
Often times, students with learning difficulties also struggle with anxiety and depression related to school situations and performance. This can manifest as behavioral outbursts at school and home, refusing to go to school or particular classes, refusal to engage in school assignments, and/or disengagement from school activities and peer groups.

These children require a specialize approach to healing by combining academic intervention that teaches them how to work with and honor their learning differences along with behavioral intervention that helps reshape and guide their emotional experiences in a world where they often feel unsuccessful.

As a academic and behavioral interventionist and counselor, I can help your child recognize the true gift in the way their mind works, learn to navigate all aspects of their emotions, and claim the unique qualities that make them special. By combining Executive Functioning Skills coaching with academic interventions, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), I have helped many children move from angry and disengaged to successful and grounded. I also coach and support parents to adjust practices at home that will better support their child.
I require a free initial consultation to ensure that every client is truly ready to do the work and to set goals for our work.

We meet every other week with "check ins" in between sessions
